Westoverledingen is about 10 minutes by car from the town of Leer and the city of Papenburg with the Meyer shipyard, as well as about 20 minutes from the Dutch border and about 1 hour from the North Sea coast. Via Leer, B 70 towards Papenburg, or Papenburg B 70 towards Leer; Exit Flachsmeer-Königstr., then after approx. 200 m turn right into Heidestr., into Amselweg and then into Fasanenweg 29
