The Centre for Experiential Education and Environmental Education Ueckermünde (ZERUM) is a maritime-themed youth education and meeting centre with an integrated school hostel on the Little Szczecin Lagoon. With 97 beds in 35 rooms, we also offer large groups a variety of reasonably priced accommodation options. Our house with its facilities as well as the harbour and the high ropes course are largely barrier-free or low-barrier. The ZERUM Ueckermünde is therefore particularly suitable for people with disabilities. There are three seminar/group rooms in the main building, two with TV. All seminar rooms can be equipped with a projector, presentation case and flipchart if required.
Our kitchen provides all meals when the house is occupied by at least 10 people, baked goods are freshly baked and delivered daily by a baker from Ueckermünde.
A washing machine is available and can be used for a small fee.
Due to its unique location, the ZERUM has its own harbour, which has been barrier-free since 2015. Equipped with various motorboats, sailing boats and canoes, it offers the opportunity to discover and experience the maritime diversity of the region in many ways. The facility is located directly at the mouth of the River Uecker and is therefore very well connected to the Szczecin Lagoon and the neighbouring inland waters. The element of water is also central to many of the educational programmes at our facility.
